How do I use Cuba?

Simply press the power button to turn Cuba on. A blue light will indicate the device is ready to use. Hold the tip of the device in front of your baby's nose and mouth, with the light facing away from the baby's face. With every breath, Cuba will softly glow greeen and give you a gentle vibration.

Cuba won't turn on, what do I do?"

Cuba has been tested to last for more than 30,000 breaths. Cuba contains a permanent non-replaceable coin cell battery. The battery is non-replacebale to ensure children can not get access to it. If your Cuba device has prematurely expired, please contact our team for asssisstance.

Cuba sometimes flashes green when not near my baby.

Cuba uses very sensitive technology to detect the tiny breaths of newborns. This means that sometimes when sitting in a room, it can have false detections from adult breaths circulating in the air. Don't worry though, Cuba should not give false readings when held near your baby.

Is Cuba TGA/FDA approved?

Accepted Answer

Cuba is a consumer electronic product, NOT a medical device, and thus does nto require TGA/FDA certification. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any diease, including Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Cuba can not replace proper parental supervision.
